Dr Cordahi graduated from Saint-Joseph’s Medical school in 1992.
He then followed an internship at Yale University and got a research fellowship at the Yale Eye Center under Dr Peter Liggett’s mentorship.
From 1994-1997, he completed a residency in Ophthalmology at the University of Kentucky.
In the aim of furthering his knowledge and learning new surgical techniques, he completed in 1998 a subspeciality in Medical Retina from Harvard University.
From 1998-2000, he obtained a surgical Retina Fellowship at the Bascom Palmer Eye Institute in Miami.
He worked in a private practice in Memphis, Tennessee from 2001-2003.
A member of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and author of many peer-reviewed articles, Dr. Cordahi is also associate professor at the Université de Montréal since 2003.
