Different intraocular lenses choices

The cataract surgery requires the extraction of the clouded lens and then replacing it by an artificial intraocular lens. This lens is invisible, painless, permanent and requires no maintenance. Current technology allows us to implant intraocular lenses that correct vision with greater precision and predictability than before.

Institut de l'oeil des Laurentides (IOL) offers to cataract surgery patients intraocular lens choices in order to meet their needs. Some intraocular lenses allow greater visual autonomy for distance and near after surgery. These are multifocal lenses.

Our work is based on giving the best possible lens selection for the patient so that he can get the maximum benefit from the surgery.
